As someone who cleared 32 heat with every weapon, I'll say that Hades 2's hexes are pretty disapointing. You either have something that you didn't level that much that is quite underwhelming (or pretty much useless), or you invest a lot to get something "okay". The problem is, investing in them means that you didn't put as much in the rest of your build, which 95% of the time, is the wrong play. I much prefered Hades 1's calls. They at least synergised quite a lot with the rest of your build, so it didn't feel like they were competing with something else.

Could you not also use surge smth with it? The one Zeus boom that activates whenever you don’t have much magic, if you prime the hell out of your magic bar and oscillate between 0 and 10 or 20 magic it might give smth interesting

It's cool but for me it's always cooler to see big numbers. I could get 2k on a fully charged axe in one blessed run, so shields would melt away anyway

Weather affects your fishing power, not a big fisher but if you do fish in terraria it is very useful

I overrated the armor breaking hammers too at first but you never see the really good players pick them up. The reason being is that it really only helps you clear rooms and does basically nothing for bosses. And some hammers can define a run by giving such a DPS boost that they work as a pseudo armor breaking one while also dealing crazy damage to bosses.
